What makes a great teacher?

The below image, which is about what makes a great teacher, was taken from  a reading in a unit on classroom and behaviour management. The actual original source of the material is from:

Biggs, J 1993, 'What makes a good teacher?‘ in Processes of learning, 3rd edition,
Prentice Hall, New York, p. 487.

I think this is vital information for all teachers. A way to get students' opinions on their beliefs on good teachers could be to, at the beginning of the year when establishing relationships with everyone, would be to do a brainstorm of all the ideas students have about what they believe makes a great teacher and these ideas would be recorded on paper and displayed in the classroom. This activity could be completed with the question What makes a great student?. Getting student ideas in this respect relates to a previous post on the five principles in the classroom, with the inclusive principle in mind. Creating an inclusive environment where everyone participates in the development and continuation of the classroom environment.
